Episode Synopsis "Coming together"

In the fifth episode of A Walk On The Wise Side, we’re doing things a little bit differently. We've invited four experts from some great life wisdom traditions to give us some tastes of truth... Dr Stephen McKenzie is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Melbourne. In this episode, Stephen and clinical psychologist Nicholas Van Dam will ask the experts the big questions: What does the world really need now? How can the traditions or systems like Christianity, Buddhism, Western Philosophy and so on really help people live well? There’s no right or wrong way to practice mindfulness - but it can’t hurt to have a guide! There is no guided mindfulness practice in this episode - if you are looking for one, we recommend going back to episodes 1, 2, 3, or 4 and using the timecode to skip ahead.
