Episode Synopsis "More on Mindfulness"
A Walk On The Wise Side continues with more on mindfulness - that is, what mindfulness really is, and isn’t, and how it can really help you. These podcasts are designed to help you gain insight into the practice of mindfulness, and include step-by-step guides on how to do it at home. Dr Stephen McKenzie is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Psychological Sciences at the University of Melbourne, and a mindfulness researcher, course developer and author. In this episode, Stephen and our student guest Lucy will help answer the following questions: o How can you improve your mindfulness practice? o What has mindfulness got to do with knowing one’s self? o Can mindfulness actually help us live well? There’s no right or wrong way to practice mindfulness - but it can’t hurt to have a guide!
