As a former doctoral student, I realized getting lost in a dissertation was easy and stressful but could be a better journey with Take 5 mindfulness practices. Take a listen! Step away from the assignment for 5 minutes. (Engage with family or friends.) Take 5 slow deep breaths. Go for a 5-minute walk. Write 5 things you are grateful for that happened on that day.
