On 7/16, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) declared that cross-border data flow under the EU-US Privacy Shield framework to be invalid based on rulings of Schrems II case. The 7-trillion-dollar transatlantic trade, most of which involve EU citizens' data, should expect disruptions in the coming months.
