Up In The Nosebleeds

Sports are beautiful. Not much is better. Thinking back on some of my favorite memories, a lot of them involve sports. Playing them. Watching them. Doesn't matter. The lows are low but they make the highs so, so, so sweet. Nothing compares to watching your favorite team reach unforeseen heights. Nothing compares to watching a generational talent pull off one of the most incredible athletic feats you've ever seen, dunking on someone in traffic, breaking off a 80-yard touchdown run, ripping off their 3rd home run of the game, and the list goes on. Nothing compares to seeing a player come up huge in the most tense and pressure-filled moments and pushing their team over the top. Nothing compares to the underdog uprooting the favorite and proving the world wrong. On the other hand, not much compares to a championship team, a true championship team, clicking on all cylinders, showing off their chemistry, scraping the ceiling of sports perfection, exemplifying what it truly means to be a team. I want those special moments from sports history to get their due and respect. Those underdogs, those unheralded champions, those unforgettable seasons, those nerve-wracking games, those incredible athletes. I want to post about those players, games, seasons. This, is my take from up in the nosebleeds.
