Episode Synopsis

No one has better intentions for yourself than you do right now.

Do you have a list of everything you want to start implementing and you’re wanting to start it today, right now?

Shoot, I’m even catching myself throwing in all these extra things I want to do that I didn’t even do before.

It’s normal to feel this way when our routine has been thrown off and we are ready to get back at it.

Or when we have given ourself a window to binge eat and say I’m going to get my sh*t together come Monday.

Those intentions are great to have, but let’s pump the breaks and focus on simple things that we know we can do without a doubt that will lead us in the right direction.

You might have even noticed by now that you didn’t get half the stuff done that you wanted to.

Then what happens is you feel guilty and confidence gets low and you say to yourself “I’m a failure, I’ll just start again super fresh come The New Year.”

But you didn’t look at the simple things that you DID do that will still lead you in the right direction.

So let’s start small.

Start here.

This is an example of three simple things you can start today to lead you back in the right direction.

But on a scale of 1-10 this should be at least an 8, which is saying without a doubt you know you can do.

1. Water. Drink half your body weight in ounces of water. If you already do that, then drink a gallon of water a day.
2. Exercise. Move. Sweat.
3. Eat quality food. Meat, vegetables, fruits and some starches like brown rice, sweet potatoes and gluten free bread and pastas.

Start there and nothing more.

If you have a hard time doing that on a regular basis, don’t add to your list.

Stick with the basics, then once you got the basics you can add something else to your list that will keep moving you in the right direction.
