Episode Synopsis "An Illustrated History of UFOs with Adam A. Boardman"
Adam Allsuch Boardman is an illustrator, animator, and writer based in the UK. His publications include ‘An Illustrated History of Filmaking’, which has been translated into six languages. In this episode, we speak to Adam about his latest book, ‘An Illustrated History of UFOs’, which provides readers with a guide to some of history’s most famous cases and the artefacts, agencies, aircraft, and (maybe) aliens behind them. In the process, we touch upon everything from Adam’s aesthetic inspiration and motivations to his favourite UFO shapes and the blurred boundaries between ufology, science fiction, and art. The opening track is ‘Modem’ by @jamie-harper, while the closing piece is ‘Alien Airports’ by Inland Taipan (@inland-taipan-43990621). Artwork by Adam Allsuch Boardman.
