A variation on the classic 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique. Full exercise is also in the description!The classic 5-4-3-2-1 grounding technique is to notice 5 things you can see, 4 things you can hear, 3 things you can touch, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. For this variation, simply observe one time with each of the senses, 1-1-1-1-1. Then, when you are experiencing each sense, really take your time to Acknowledge what you are experiencing, Appreciate what you are experiencing, and Absorb what you are experiencing.
