Purpose Statement: How do you explain the unexplainable? Much of the birth of the church seemed to be like comprehending UFO’s. God the Spirit invaded the hearts of people in an amazing, uncanny way. It’s one thing to see the power of the Spirit but to experience it internally it’s a different experience. Jesus told His disciples what would happen, but now how and when. When the day of Pentecost happened there was a noise unlike the arrival of a tornado or hurricane. The wind was blowing. Something settled on their heads. And people proclaimed the gospel.
