Episode Synopsis "Bruges: world heritage site with great plans for the future"
In the course of seven episodes Visit Bruges and Triennial Bruges bring you a fascinating podcast about the history of the city's art and architecture. Immerse yourself in the city and dream about visiting during the Triennial Bruges 2021. In episode one, we discuss a concise history of Bruges. In episode two, we discuss the importance of Bruges' role as ‘birthplace’ of the Flemish primitives (painters), such as Hans Memling and Jan van Eyck. In the third episode we tell you more about Bruges as a UNESCO World Heritage City.
