After students are systematically screened and in their homeroom teachers all will follow the sequence of events below. The purpose of these procedures is to preserve a safe and clean learning environment and minimize the possibility of exposure through social interaction in large groups. The use of a self-contained homeroom setting will help limit unnecessary student traffic while student schedules are completed but most importantly to maximize the level acclimation of all students in a transitional introduction to the elements of this transformed learning environment. The objective of this campus lesson will be introduced by the principal over the public address system through the various discussions and learning points throughout the day. It will be very important that student traffic be limited to bathroom breaks only without exception barring medical emergencies. Things to remember for the first day of school: Student drivers are asked to report to class and remain in their vehicles until a staff member screens them to enter any school facilities Parents dropping off students are asked to remain in your vehicles until all are screened by a staff member Once screened, students will be directed where to go to designated holding areas before they are allowed to report to their homeroom teacher for the day. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for students every day. Beginning on Monday, August 10-21, 2020, HS students in grades 9-12 will attend school half day from 7:45 a.m. to 12:35 p.m. Junior High Students will attend for the entire day. Lunch will be provided at 12:35 for High School students and then be dismissed.
