Episode Synopsis "The Writer's Shorts Podcast Episode 1"
Welcome to The Writer's Shorts Podcast! Do you write stories? Have you ever wanted to write short stories? Do you feel you have a book in you? Want to fulfill your potential as an author? Want to see your work published? We believe everyone has the potential to write a short piece of fiction. In fact, we think the literary world deserves more short stories. Our ethos is built around the "written word for your ears". This podcast has been produced to help you achieve just that. In this episode, we encourage you to work with a single word as inspiration or the seed of a story, and help you to formulate an idea, and then produce either a piece of flash fiction or a full short story. We set a number of short exercises to help you to identify the potential genre's for your writing, and challenge you to develop your ideas, structure a short story, write it - and if you feel brave enough submit it for publication as a narrated short story podcast on our sister podcast "The Teabreak Tales". We are looking for submissions of 1500 to 3000 words. Just follow the links below. You don't have to be published, experienced, as we welcome the novice writer, as well as the more experienced.
