On October 15, 2021, the Philippine government began its "dry run" to inoculate COVID-19 vaccines for aged 12 to 17 with comorbidities in Metro Manila. After the successful run, the government approved the recommendation to administer the vaccines for the said age group nationwide which was started last November 3, 2021.
