This week we welcomed IFFB Pro John Jewett (@johnjewett3) onto the podcast to discuss optimising hypertrophy for powerlifters.
John is a very decorated bodybuilder having won many NPC shows & competed at the coveted Mr. Olympia 3x to date but before the bodybuilding life he was all about powerlifting.
He has broken multiple records in the sport & it’s unlikely we will have a bigger bencher on the podcast for a while (he has benched 706lbs/320kg).
You could say he knows a thing or two about being big & strong eh?
To top it off, John is a very educated man with a science-based mind & a need to know the why behind it all. So it was only fitting we would get him on to discuss what us powerlifters could do to maximise muscle growth.
