Episode Synopsis "Interview With Mr. Ron Walker"
Mr. Ron Walker is an avid member of the Blackhorse community, as well as my first interviewee! Joining the army after high school in the 50s, he was stationed in San Diego and soon rose through the ranks of the Navy and eventually rose through the ranks to become a pilot for the United States Air Force in the late 60s. He also owns a scrapyard where he collected planes listed as missing by the military, disassembled them and sold them for spare parts. This man has lived an incredible life and his effect on San Diego through the Navy has been profound and lengthy.
