June Thoburn CBE FRSA and Emeritus Professor in the School of Social Work, University of East Anglia, recognised that to help Social workers to ‘fix’ things, the clients experience of such help must be at the centre, driven by their needs and wants and not solely the professionals. June has written on partnership, permanency and collaborative working. She sees the work of social work as a collaboration with allied professionals.
