[05:30] The army national guard deployed me for 6 months to Baghdad
[06:00] Received my CFP certification
[06:30] The firm I worked at was purchased by Wells Fargo so I decided to open my own company
[06:45] I started my own Financial Blog
[07:30] I unlocked how to make money online back when everyone was on MySpace
[09:00] Making money through my Blog, Youtube, Podcast, and other online avenues gave me the freedom to make more money, work less, and answer to less people
[12:40] The law of momentum
[13:50] It’s not too late to start a blog but you need to figure out how you will add value and be different
[15:30] What’s your message, how are you going to stand out?
[16:05] Start by seeing how you can help people

[20:00] You don’t have to be a good writer to be an author. You have the ideas and the principles you want to share, you just need to find a writer to help you put those into words and finish your book
[20:10] Within 6-9 months - the book was done
