Episode Synopsis "Ordinary Aviators, Extraordinary Adventures: Doug Jackson"
Doug Jackson, a man who wears many different hats. In our part of the aviation world, a lot of us know him for the Lone Star Stol event he hosted earlier this year in Gainesville, TX. Doug also formed a charity called Operation Airdrop that is a network of pilots providing hurricane relief flights into Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico, and this past year the Bahamas. They have literally flown millions of pounds of supplies to these ravaged places. There is a link in the show notes to operation airdrop where you can learn more. Today doug and I talk about how he got his start flying, about Ultra 4 racing, and about Lone Star STOL. Operation Airdrop: https://www.operation-airdrop.com/
