He has been an incorrigible entrepreneur for 35 years during which time he has started and led nine tech startups two with exits over $100M. He is founder and executive chairman of Dover Microsystems a hardware-based cybersecurity company he founded in 2017. He is the author of six books including his memoir about dealing with cancer and disability as a teenager called Who Says I Can't, a children's book for ages 4-9 called Adventures on the Can Do Trail, and his most recent called Tech Startup Toolkit. He is a member of the Forbes Technology Council where he publishes regularly on Forbes.com. Jothy is a TEDx speaker and the founder of The Who Says I Can't Foundation whose mission is to help disabled young people regain their self-esteem through success at high challenge sports. Jothy hosts the Designing Successful Startups podcast weekly with guests who operate in and around the startup founder ecosystem. Jothy is a frequent keynote speaker where he has spoken at ESPN, Netflix, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Boston University, Mass General Hospital, The San Jose Sharks, and others.
