Welcome to THE LINK - Bridging Faith and Life with Dr. Vincent Bacote! This month, Dr. Bacote reflects on suffering and connects it to the suffering of Jesus and the book of 1 Peter.


In the Nicene Creed we see the words "he was crucified under Pontius Pilate," words that tell us Jesus truly suffered. Throughout the book of 1 Peter we see a church that faces suffering and persecution. Jesus' suffering and the message of 1 Peter show us we cannot avoid suffering as we pursue a life of faithfulness.
