Listen "Examining Our Lens"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome to THE LINK: Bridging Faith and Life with Dr. Vincent Bacote! Every month, Dr. Bacote will introduce listeners to ways they can build connections between faith and life in their ministries and personal lives. This month, Dr. Bacote talks about how the recent death Charlie Kirk (and similar tragedies) presents us with an opportunity to look at how and why we respond to these events. How do we respond and what narratives do we tell about those “on our team” and those who are not? How do we tell the whole truth as best we can? Romans 12:2 invites us to have transformed minds; this includes how we see and respond to people and events. How well do you understand the lens you have on the world and the reasons for your responses to events?Dr. Bacote is a professor of theology and the director of the Center for Applied Christian Ethics at Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois. If you'd like to connect with Dr. Bacote, click on the link below! www.vincentbacote.com/coaching
