Episode Synopsis "4: How To Avoid Feeling Guilty When Running a Business."

In this episode, Andy explains how he has been able to learn how to balance his life priorities (Special Focus on Family) and avoid feeling guilty about taking away some time from one area and allocated it to another one: Business. 1) Identify who will be impacted by this changes: Spouse, Children, Friend or anyone else that matters to you. Try to asking yourself this question: Is there any way that I can include this person into my business? Ex: My wife became my business partner and we work together in our company. 2) Have a Schedule: Identify the areas in your life that you want to dedicate your time to and distribute your day among those.  Ex: Andy priorities are family, day job, Uplift Athletics/Business and personal activities. Andy dedicates his early mornings to get his daughter ready for school (Family), works for 9-10 hours a day at his day job (Day job), once back at home share activities with spouse and daughter (Family), goes to the gym (Personal Activities) and then dedicates time to Uplift Athletics (Business). 3) Be Present: Amount of time does not equal quality time. Avoid interruptions or distractions while you are dedicating time with family just like you would do if you were interacting with customer/business associates.
