In the second episode of The Lantern Bearers (formerly The Last Gentlemen), Peter and Walker list and analyze the top selling books of all time and the highest grossing films of all time. They also look at some studies that have been conducted on what makes a book or movie popular and discuss whether there's a correlation between popularity and "greatness." What makes a work of art great or classic? Can we judge it by the numbers? Or does it have to do with the themes that the work deals with?
