We are all pretenders. We are born into it. From the beginning we are taught, whether it is subconsciously implied or openly taught by those around us, that we are to measure up to social standards and look the part well. There is a time and place for everything, so as they say, fake it til you make it. The only problem, secretly we are all little individual weirdos who aren’t meant to fake it. So join Abbie as she masks off. Out with the old ways of wearing a pretenders mask for the sake of societies standards, and in with her true self enduring as she discovers the beginning of the good, the bad, the ugly and the ugliest of herself.
