Dj Goya's Rhythm & Soul Classix, encapsulating wicked piano melodies and percussive vibes it will take you back to the early third millennium when most man made things started evolving. The House Music genre was no exception in terms of the third millennium evolution, it started growing branches in the form of sub genres such as Deep,Soulful, Afro and Jazzy House. Fusing together all these other sub genres resulted in what I like to call Rhythm & Soul.Basic and natural elements of music in the form of Classical music, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz music and World music sounds combined with deep house elements was the order of the day. This form of evolution is still felt and carries on today in the underground music scene with Glenn Underground, Larry Heard, Ron Trent and Louie Vega being on the front seat and most South African djs and producers making it fundamental to their dj sets and production. The second tune Omato Grosso by ADNY Released in 2001 the begining of the third millennium, paved the way for most if not all of the tunes in this mix and half of them come from the year 2003... a decade ago...
