Who is your authority? Is it the world, the flesh and the devil, or is it God's Word? Many never fulfill their Christian life. They never understand what God has for them. These Christians get caught up in chasing the details of life with the lures of the world and get into a frantic search for happiness. They allow their sin nature to take control and it becomes the authority in their life instead of the authority of Scripture. “Do not love the world nor the things of the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him” (1 John 2:15). God’s grace provides a way for you to overcome these distractions. “You will know the truth and the truth will make you free” (John 8:32). This is having the Word of God as the authority in your soul.
