No one can gain eternal favor from God by means of their holy lifestyle or clean living. “But as He who has called you is holy, so be you holy in all manner of conversation” (1 Pet 1:15). You are holy in your position in Christ Jesus. When you are filled with the Holy Spirit you are living a holy life. Your advance to spiritual maturity, the holiness you want to attain, is a gradual process only attained by studying under a well-qualified pastor.
