Marique, a Hidatsa tribal member, is also Black and Norwegian. Her identities and perspectives serve her passion as an avid social justice junkie. This has led her to tackle Issues, victories, and movements to educate in a real, current and often humorous way about underrepresented communities. Her emphasis will be on Indigenous Identity of AI/AN who make up only 1.6% of the U.S population. Their perspectives and current issues are usually lost in a country of 330,000 000 people. While we love a good identity crisis, this is just one of limitless for us to discuss on the Dreaded Hidatsa.
