February is Black history month! In this podcast episode, we discuss the origin and the reason for having a whole month dedicated to Black history. We are discussing its significance in the U.S. and the pitfalls of having a Black history month. We have decided that an important topic of this year's Black history month will be a discussion of Black Lives Matter and the civil rights era, and put it into perspective of Black Americans' continued struggle for justice in the U.S.
