After completing his master's degree at the University of Utah School of Medicine, Travis has practiced as a board-certified Physician Assistant in complementary/integrative medicine, urgent/primary care, occupational medicine, transplant surgery, hepatology, nephrology, acute ICU care, plastic & [cancer] reconstruction, and orthopedic surgery. Because of his multi-specialty expertise, Travis with a unique perspective was able to identify the inflammatory mediated disease as the single most common cause of illness in almost every pathological process he had treated over the years. After discovering the single largest contributor to systemic inflammation, refined and artificial sugars, he has dedicated his career to the prevention and treatment of illness through diet. Travis is most inspired by the words of Hippocrates “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” He currently resides in Lehi, Utah and spends most of his time researching the integration of yoga, whole plant medicinal therapies and decentralized computer technologies to improve the quality of life for his fellow humans.
