The Cobblestone Podcast is a series of conversations with prominent figures from the rich musical community, based in the Cobblestone pub at the top of Smithfield square, Dublin. Created by Tom Mulligan in 1988, the Cobblestone has played host to Traditional music sessions daily, for the last 30 years. Be it a session up the front or a concert in the Back Room venue, there is an inevitability of bumping into top-class musicians with a passion for their art. the Cobblestone has no TVs or pool tables and people are encouraged to sit back with a pint, have a conversation, or listen to some great music. Join hosts, Ispini na hEireann, who interview a plethora of Musicians and Characters that have made their way through the doors of the cobblestone at one time or another.
