An exclusive interview with Dr. Stanley Shaw, the very first recipient of the BPS Weaver/Penna Award. Dr. Shaw’s efforts helped Nuclear Pharmacy become recognized as the first specialty practice in 1978.
The Weaver/Penna Award is awarded to an individual or organization who has advanced health quality and/or patient care by promoting the recognition and value of specialized training, knowledge, and skills in pharmacy and the BPS board certification of pharmacists.
