Listen "Sugar addiction"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode, I share a personal story about my struggle with sugar addiction. My discovery of how deeply ingrained addictive patterns can become (whether they involve food, stress, or habits) helped me discover more about myself. This conversation will offer insights into how addiction to sugar or other coping mechanisms can take hold (back to early childhood), as well as shed light on addictive behaviors that might not be what we typically think of. Unwinding from addiction was part of my path to find stillness within and to move toward self actualization. By sharing this little part of my story, I hope it can shed some light on your own.Mentioned in the episode:Lembke, Anne. (2021). Dopamine Nation. Rosen, Tommy.
