Episode Synopsis "Stepping out of the UCSB liberal bubble (Karsten Kolbe and Clara Bourguignon) "

We believe that the main thing listeners to our podcast episode will learn is how deeply racial paradigms are ingrained into society, especially in the white majority, and how these paradigms appear in different ways outside of UCSB’s liberal bubble. How do different people think about the subjects we learned about in class? One interesting take will be to compare and contrast the US racial paradigm and the French racial paradigm. We’ll also be having a discussion with a white conservative, who happens to be the same age as us. Topics include: free speech, racial commonsense, affirmative action.
