Hello! Welcome to the official Facebook community for Salt & Light the podcast! It is our mission to encourage your faith and joy through the grace and tenacity of God’s word. Through this podcast, we will use personal testimonies and sources of inspiration in order to encourage you and show you just how amazing God is in our lives if we allow Him to be. We believe our trials are stronger but we are stronger because of them. At the end of the day - our main goal it is all about respect of yourself and others. In order to get to that point, we must work through some things and consider perspectives we may have never thought to before. For this podcast, we coat it with confidence from the words of Hebrews 12:1-2 as the Living Word and prayer over this project. It is written, “therefor, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. Because of the joy awaiting Him, He endured the cross, disregarding its shame. Now He is seated in the place of honor beside God’s throne. This ministry is a grassroots/from the ground up project that is taking you on the journey right along with us. We believe in God as the Holy Trinity - The Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus lived a perfect life, took time to have unity with God - therefore we must as well in our works. We believe that He was born of Virgin Mary, lived an excellent life of solid work and integrity, as well as providing miraculous blessings for. We believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins and 3 days later rose again to ascend from Heaven with the promise that He will return one day. We believe in being raw and real, as well as focusing more on a relationship with God verses relying on what religious routines tell us to do. We believe in growth, we believe in resurrection of our spirits and we believe in gracious chances to restore anew and live the lives we were created to live.
