In this episode, I am speaking with A Kenyan native, Mkamboi Mwakale founder of Saru Organics, beauty products company. Her journey begun accidentally when her 4-year-old daughter kept on falling sick and was prescribed antibiotics on multiple occasions. We discussed her early journey into entrepreneurship, funding her first products, how to source raw materials, her love for farmers, the importance of leading a team with transparency, and how she takes care of her own mental health while leading a team, especially in this pandemic.
