One of the things I like most about the Old Testament is the creation story. There’s nothing quite like it. It’s a beautiful and terrible story. On the one hand, you have this story of how mankind is placed in complete and perfect harmony with all of creation. A place where mankind walked with God, side by side. On the other hand, it’s a little depressing. To think that we had it all. We lived as immortals in a land void of hostility. A world that God called good. Compare that to the world today, and it’s bound to make you a little sad. But today I want to show you that, despite everything that happened, despite our disobedience, despite the fall, God continues to invite us to join Him in His adventure. #WCV #TheInvitation #MessageOfTheOldTestament
