I stumbled into it and it sure brought back memories, that brought back memories. This famous quote was written my St. Jerome who lived between 347and 420AD. What a long time you would say, he was a theologian and a historian who was best known for his translation of most of the Bible into Latin and also his commentaries on the gospel as well. And this quote taught me some things. 1. To never give up, never settle for less than the best. 2. Growth is a process where you have to move from one stage to another. 3. To strive to be the number one in all my endeavors, even though the process of growth can be uncomfortable, but I have learnt to be comfortable with being uncomfortable.
