Matt Hensley is a former collegiate runner at the University of Florida. He is a marker of consistency with his own running and has a marathon personal best of 2:19:51. He currently lives in Boulder, Colorado where he is the coach of the Boulder Underground team. He also is the Vice President of Business Operations at Roll Recovery.
In this episode, we discuss Matt’s family tradition of running and how that has influenced his approach to coaching his athletes at Boulder Underground. He will describe his approach to injury management, collaboration with his sports medicine team, balancing training load, and how he keeps his athletes healthy and performing at their best.
