Welcome to Radical Animals. This is a podcast about ecology and politics. It's part of a popular education project where learning is mutual. It's made by three human animals who want to explore our relationship with all species, and how we work together to make our society more ecologically viable. Science has revealed what many different people around the world already knew in different ways: that every living thing is dependent on all the rest to survive. But modern politics and economics hasn't caught up. The ecological and political problems in the world are so huge that we believe that we need radical solutions. To survive, everything about how we live needs to change. We are going to speak to scientists, activists and people with ideas aiming to create a space for discussion about how we can achieve that.
