Episode Synopsis "Episode 3: Santi the film"
In episode three, we interview the brilliant up-and-coming film director, Harry Richards, about his new film, Santi. The short film is a collaboration between the UK and Colombia which aims to increase on-screen representation of Colombian communities living in the UK. Along with a British-Colombian protagonist playing Santi, Marvin, one of the Pub Colombia hosts, is the executive producer for the film. We discuss everything you have been yearning to hear; the cast, the search for Santi, why representing a Colombian’s experience in the UK is so important to Harry, the challenges, if being British has caused push backs from the LATAM community and his plans for the future.
