Disability and the hustle and bustle of an emergency, a conversation with Adrian Terranova from Gippsland Disability Advocacy (GDA) and Angela Cook, Preparing Vulnerable People Project Manager at CFA .Adrian and Angela discuss what disability advocacy is and why Gippsland Disability Advocacy got involved over the 2019/20 fire season.  Adrian talks about why they are still involved and are passionate about emergency management.  The two discuss what bushfire planning means for someone with a disability and what CFA needs to consider when engaging people with a disability.  Sometimes talking about disability can push people outside of their comfort zone, so this is a good way to listen and learn.
