This episode explores the first type of prayer we will study: prayers of praise. Often, people make little distinction between prayers of praise and prayers of thanksgiving. But Dr. Mark McDowell explains that it is helpful to distinguish between the two in our understanding of the function of prayers of praise l even if we do combine them in practice.Our image of God has a lot to do with how we praise him.
