Episode Synopsis "Zoe Evangeline Borrell and the future of the fashion industry and sustainability"
Zoe Evangeline Borrell's passion for ethical fashion can be traced back to learning how to make garments with her seamstress grandmother at a young age in Canada. Her company, Evangeline Label is an Australian womenswear label based in Brisbane, where she spends significant time being a jack of all trades, designing, sourcing fabrics, hand making ALL her garments, running social media, marketing, accounting, art direction, the list goes on and on, truly a one woman show. We spoke about the future of the fashion industry and how sustainability is the future, how to stand out in a sea of competition, the tribulations of running a small business and her impactful efforts giving back by partnering with Oxfam.
