Many of the kids we serve in our out-of-school programs bring behaviors with them from traumatic experiences that show up in a wide variety of ways. Creating a trauma informed and trauma responsive culture helps staff understand those behaviors and create environments that help kids feel supported and safe. On the podcast I am joined by two Trauma Responsive Care presenters who help us better understand trauma and our role in helping kids heal.
