Episode Synopsis "Of body & stress | a poem by Stuti Ashok Gupta"
A poem about how your body releases, recovers and repairs from stress. When you yawn, like a child - open and unashamed, When you cry, like a baby hungry for mother’s breast, Your body is getting rid of strains as you shake like a lose electrical wire hanging in the wind, Have you noticed how your stomach gurgles? And how your spine passes down chills? All a oblivious piece of the code language - including, Hysterical laughters just like those that bunch of women laugh, when nobody’s watching & giggles like of two notorious boys after they break their neighbour’s glass window with their ball, Your body is releasing it every time you tingle - kind of like the one when you hold someone’s hands, someone that you’re in love with. Between the deep breaths and heavy sighs - your body is telling you to slow down, Between the waves of heat that rush in and the sweat on your forehead - your body is asking you to be gentle. Don’t control it. Don’t cage it. Don’t hide it. Give a moment to your body, To find it’s way to the equilibrium. Be with it. Listen to it. Be gentle. Stay gentle. Stay gentle.
