On this weeks Student Voice Podcast we are joined by two current NUI Galway students, Labhaoise Barrett, who is studying BA Arts with Data Science (GY124) and Shain Sutton, currently studying BSc. Computer Science and Information Technology (GY350). Both Labhaoise and Shain are undertaking their work placements, as part of their undergraduate degree courses, at Genesys in Galway city. Labhaoise and Shain chat to me about the challenges of undertaking a work placement during a global pandemic, what its like to work with Genesys and their future career aspirations. We are also trilled to welcome Edel Kelly, the first NUI Galway Alumna to join us on The Student Voice. Edel is a graduate of the Bachelor of Commerce degree (GY201) at NUI Galway and works as a Senior Development Manager with Genesys. Edel chats to us about her career journey and finding the right career path for you.
