Episode Synopsis "Notayesmanspodcast313"
This is the latest in my series of podcasts explaining how economics works in the credit crunch and now virus pandemic era. This week I give my thoughts on why the Bank of England sold £550 million of UK bonds on Monday including selling some it paid ~100 for at 28? How much is it losing? What is really going on here? Presumably the gov has to issue bonds to cover these losses?
