Episode Synopsis "My father's son podast (promo)"

When my father died I was left with an emptiness, not only because I had lost a parent but also because I lost what should have been my primary instructor, in boyhood and in manhood… not that he was the best communicator. This is the reason I have started this podcast; for the conversations we never had while he was alive and the conversations we can never have now that he is gone. The relationship between a father and son can be a very delicate one, ironic, considering most fathers require their sons to be as tough as nails. My relationship with my dad was no different. This podcast series is about navigating that relationship, the effects thereof, boyhood, manhood and everything in between. It has been a firm belief of mine that it is through sharing that we connect and it is through that connection that we are reminded that we are not alone and thus are able to heal and become better human beings. Thank you for taking this journey with me and allowing me to take one with you... I feel like we need this.
