CAA DMARES - DRONE OPERATOR RENEWAL UPDATE & NEWS!!! First off - I'm sorry I've been away for so long; needed to divert my attention to family and friends during the situation over the summer and make sure we made it through ok as a family... I hope you're all doing well & have managed to keep safe throughout! :) Hey everyone, we've been asking the CAA as a community, what their plans were surrounding renewals for the Drone Operator Registration Scheme for a few months now... With little to no response from them. Today, we have some news about the registration scheme and renewal of your Operator ID - in the form of the first round of Renewal Reminder Emails, which have been sent out to a bunch of registered operators... Great news that they're reminding us, but it doesn't seem like the renewal portal is working correctly at the moment... Fingers crossed they'll fix it quickly and we can all keep using our 'current' Operator ID's, rather than having to be issued new ones but... We'll see!
